The Workers Action Centre  is a small organization with a big voice and a great track record fighting for the rights of all workers who toil on the margins of the Ontario economy. WAC stands up for temporary, part-time, casual, new immigrant, and low-wage workers of every kind. Good online videos.

The Toronto and York Region Labour Council  is fighting hard for good jobs for working people. The labour council is a driving force behind the Good Jobs Coalition an alliance of community, labour, social justice, youth and environmental organizations in the Toronto region.

The Canadian Centre for Policy Alternatives is Canada’s leading progressive think tank. The CCPA has published hundreds of studies and reports on economic issues from the perspective of working Canadians.

The Ontario Coalition for Social Justice  has been a leading progressive voice in the province for over 20 years. The OCSJ stands for better universal health, education, and social programs, an end to poverty, and human rights for everyone. The OCSJ Network includes links to scores of like-minded organizations.

The Equal Pay Coalition  was formed in 1976 to seek the implementation of equal pay for women for work of equal value both through legislation and collective bargaining. The Coalition has over 39 constituent and partner groups.

www.collegeworkers.org  is the web site of the Organization of Part-Time and Sessional Employees of the Colleges of Applied Arts and Technology. OPSECAAT represents thousands of Ontario college workers who, until recently, were legally barred from joining a union or taking part in collective bargaining. In co-operation with the Ontario Public Service Employees Union , OPSECAAT was instrumental in changing the law to recognize the rights of these workers. An organizing drive is in progress.
